| Type Details: STDM-E project will solve the main syncronization problem facing TDM over Ethernet (Frame based data over Packet based data) by developing a self contained timing and synchronization module, providing common time base (as exists in the TDM SONET and SDH world). It will be embedded into equipment cards generating the frequencies, functionality, performance and internal interfaces required in order to implement modern metropolitan and TDM broadband telecommunications equipment over an asynchronous packetized network. |
