2004 Design And Reuse today announced the new Foundry
Corner, sponsored by Tower
Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ: TSEM; TASE: TSEM). Tower has chosen
to share its IP portfolio with its customers through D&R portal
a unique and comprehensive resource for Intellectual Property (IP)
and System on Chip (SoC) design.
The foundry corner provides
access to:
- Comprehensive qualified foundry IP listing
- A unique search mechanism for locating the most suitable IP
- Up-to-date information on foundry opportunities, such as
available technologies and prototyping programs (shuttles)
- A listing of design centers qualified by a foundry
Realizing the importance of information sharing and
continuously opening new communication channels with its customers,
Tower has joined forces with D&R to build a state-of-the-art XML
scheme based catalogue using D&Rs IP Manager Series (IPMS)
technology. This powerful technology generation tool demonstrates
strong flexibility in terms of catalogue formatting through XML
schemes, thus enabling an easy accommodation of Towers IP offering.
D&R is convinced that foundries play a major role
in the IP arena. Rating an IP on a foundry is the best quality
guarantee for the IP consumer and the qualified IP providers will
